T-REX 2X Long Galaxy Digital ETF Launched

REX Shares and Tuttle Capital Management have unveiled the T-REX 2X Long Galaxy Digital Daily Target ETF (ticker: GLXU). This new 2x leveraged ETF mirrors the stock price of Galaxy Digital, co-founded and currently led by CEO Mike Novogratz. This addition expands the T-REX portfolio to 25 single-stock leveraged ETFs, which include funds tracking major players like Nvidia, Apple, and the Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy. According to Scott Acheychek, COO of REX, "With the launch of GLXU, we’re providing traders a mechanism to take amplified positions in companies at the forefront of digital asset innovation." This development highlights REX's commitment to enhancing trading tools suited for active investors. Similar to other single-stock leveraged ETFs, GLXU is intended for short-term trading, with long-term holders potentially facing losses due to volatility decay. The fund's expense ratio stands at 1.5% per year. Galaxy Digital operates on both the Toronto Stock Exchange and Nasdaq as a digital assets firm specializing in proprietary trading and market-making while facilitating substantial crypto transactions for its clientele. Notably, the firm recently executed the largest ever notional sale of bitcoin, liquidating 80,000 BTC on behalf of a Satoshi-era investor. Despite disclosing a 43% drop in total assets to $6.3 billion for the second quarter of 2025, Galaxy Digital reported a positive net income of $30.7 million, rebounding from previous losses.
