Coinbase has appointed the influential Crypto Twitter figure @AlexOnchain as its inaugural 'CT leader' to bolster its social media presence, as revealed in a Friday announcement. Alex comes to Coinbase with extensive experience in crypto marketing, having led social media and community efforts at Binance for four years. He left Binance in March 2024, touting growth in their social media followers by 20 million across various platforms. In his new full-time role, Alex will collaborate closely with Coinbase's executive team to showcase the company's contributions to the crypto space.
