On Tuesday, U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds reported their ninth consecutive day of net inflows, totaling $403 million. BlackRock's IBIT led with $416.35 million, followed by VanEck's HODL with $19 million in inflows. Grayscale's Mini Bitcoin Trust and Bitwise's BITB also saw positive yet smaller inflows. However, not all funds experienced gains; Grayscale's GBTC faced outflows of $41.22 million, Fidelity's FBTC lost $23 million, and Ark & 21Shares' ARKB saw a net outflow of $6.21 million. Collectively, spot bitcoin ETFs have amassed $53.07 billion in cumulative net inflows, with these funds attracting $4.4 billion over the last nine trading days. This trend builds on a growth period starting in April, during which nearly $17 billion was drawn in. "Bitcoin ETFs have consistently drawn interest since April, highlighting an increasing institutional adoption and interest from corporate treasuries," stated Min Jung, a research analyst at Presto Research. "This persistent demand underscores Bitcoin's distinctive role in the digital asset space—there's a growing sentiment that there’s no second best." In a related trend, spot Ethereum ETFs also continued their positive trajectory with eight consecutive days of net inflows, bringing in $192.33 million. Currently, Bitcoin trades at $117,373, a slight increase of 0.25%. Although it has retreated from its recent peak of $123,000 achieved earlier this week, it is holding steady at a crucial support level. "Bitcoin has sustained its position around $118K after core CPI data came in lower than anticipated, raising speculation that the Fed may cut interest rates in September, which could drive further demand for Bitcoin," explained Nick Ruck, Research Director at LVRG.
